Hydrotherapy using the properties of water to support the weight of the body during controlled exercise and can be enormously beneficial for both animals recovering from surgery as well as those with chronic issues with mobility. 

The use of a veterinary specific underwater treadmill allows more control over the body movements than pool hydrotherapy as the speed and depth of the water can be adjusted to allow for a tailored hydrotherapy session.
